- Josie, I did NOT change back to male mode for religious purposes. I am atheist basically with a small glimmer of hope as an semi-agnostic. I explored religion along the way and at one time wondered about such things and my body mode.

I've told people there is nothing wrong with being at peace if you feel you are a woman trapped in a man's body. Just because one feels that way does not mean they have to take a radical step of a sexchange. I feel like I am many things in one body and very happy to express any side at anytime! Dear Josef,

My name is Ben Smith. Today is Saturday, September 6, 2008 and I just watched your story on "Born In The Wrong Body".

I am a 61 year old gay Black man who has been married twice. Today I live my life embracing the person that I am: male body with somewhat of a female personality. I have never felt I was in the wrong body, but I've never fit in. Today I see myself as some Native American tribes would see me: a Berdash (someone with twin spirits).

The one thing that touched my heart was your statement about your desire to meet a man who will love you as you are: male body with female genitalia.

I don't know where you live (I live in Brooklyn, New York). But I would love to, at the very least, communicate with you to get to really know you.
